Our Quality Standard
Every lot is tested. Every result is written down. Here is what we test, why, and how to read what we publish.
Five tests, every lot
Purity by HPLC. High-performance liquid chromatography separates the peptide from anything else in the vial and measures how much of the material is the peptide itself. Our standard is above 99%.
Identity, on the same analysis. The chromatogram is compared against the reference standard for the compound, and the certificate names the compound found and states whether it conforms.
Heavy metals. Reported on the certificate against a limit of 50 parts per billion.
Certificate of analysis. Chromate, an independent analytical laboratory, issues a certificate for the specific lot. It is never shared between lots, never reused, and never written by us.
How to read the certificate
A proper certificate names the material and its grade, the lot number, the date of release, and each test performed with its acceptance limit and its numerical result. That is the form the international pharmaceutical quality standard for active ingredients describes, and it is the form ours takes. A certificate that shows a single purity number and nothing else tells you very little; FDA's own 2026 review of research-market documentation found that most certificates it examined did exactly that. Ours list every test.
Purity and peptide content are different numbers. Purity by HPLC describes what share of the peptide-related material is the intended peptide. Peptide content describes how much of the vial's mass is peptide once water, counter-ions and residual solvents are accounted for. Our certificates report both where the method allows, and we will explain either on request.
Where the material comes from and where it is handled
Processing and testing take place in the United States, to GMP standards, with every lot tested by an independent analytical laboratory. We run the chain from production through testing to the box that leaves Florida, which is why there is a certificate on every lot rather than a promise about one.
Traceability
Every vial carries a lot number. Every lot has a certificate. Every certificate is filed to the orders that received product from that lot. If you call about a vial you received last year, we can tell you its lot, its certificate, its test date and its laboratory in the time it takes to look it up.
Handling and storage
Lyophilized peptides are shipped in insulated packaging with cold packs where the material requires it. Store lyophilized material cold and dry; published stability work on lyophilized peptide reference standards keeps most of them at −20 °C or colder, and moisture is the enemy of long-term stability. Handling guidance for each compound is in your portal.
What we will tell you
If a lot fails, it does not ship, and we tell you why. If a method changes, we tell you before the next certificate is issued. If you find a discrepancy between a certificate and a vial, we investigate and we write back. We would rather lose an order than send you a number we cannot stand behind.
All products are research-grade materials for laboratory and institutional use. They are not for human or animal use.
COUNSEL AND BUILDER NOTES FOR THIS PAGE
- The certificate description follows ICH Q7 section 11.4 as adopted by FDA; cite it in a footnote. [23]
- The purity-versus-content paragraph follows USP's published framework for synthetic peptide reference standards; the "where the method allows" clause should be replaced by ReVia's actual practice once confirmed with the laboratory. [24]
- The storage sentence is drawn from USP's reference-standard stability data and should be confirmed against the laboratory's own guidance before publication. [24, 8]
- Name a real quality lead as the page author with credentials. Google's rater guidelines treat missing expertise on a health-adjacent topic as grounds for a Low rating. [25]
